Peacock Yarn Art

Since my sewing area has been under construction for a few months (unexpected renovation to our basement due to water - ugh!) I've been working on a few non-sewing projects. I found this vintage Revell Yarn Art kit on Ebay and thought it was really cool, but wasn't sure how a kit from the 1970's had held up through the years, but it turned out to be in great condition and worked really well. The kit consisted of many different colors of yarn and pre-formed shapes that were sticky (like stickers) and you cut the yarn and stick it to the sticky part following the picture that was printed on the shape. It turned out to be such a fun piece, that I re-framed it in a wider frame and hung it on the wall with a collage of other crafty projects. So, if you want to look for another kit like this, I would look on Ebay (or possibly Etsy) and search Revell Yarn Art (Revell being the company name). - Jennifer
